Free Beer? – pt. 2

I came across another Phil Odence post on his Look to the Source blog on Network World’ s Open Source Subnet entitled Free Beer! While Phil does not discuss Portland’s (OR) Hopworks Urban Brewery Open Source Gigabit IPA from my earlier post, he does provide some interesting background on the FREE BEER project and the Open Source Beer Project and the application of commons sourcing principles.  While The Flying Dog Brewery site (and its Twitter feed) are rather dated, I am intrigued by its Wild Dog Collaborator Doppelbock. But perhaps I am overly fond of odd names for beer!
