I had the good fortune to take in the Drupal in Government Showcase in Ottawa yesterday afternoon. I would like to thank Mike Gifford of OpenConcept Consulting for pulling together this event and its excellent speakers and content.
As a commons sourcing technology lawyer, I am both a champion of the adoption and use of open source software by government and the founder of a start-up that is working with wirespeak on the development of the Drupal platform for n2one inc.’s subscription based open source software legal information offering. It was great, in both roles, to benefit from the insights of the speakers and the attendees – some of whom gathered for a not free beer on Sparks Street after the event.
Check out Mike’s drupalgov photostream on flickr, for some notes and photos of the event and a few of my new Drupal pals!
